Today I finally went to the park in Marysville near Hwy 529 to find my photo of the day. I wish I had a boat so I decided to take a photo of one of the older boats on the dock.

I wanted to share an image of the snow geese migration. If you have never witnessed them and live near North Snohomish or Skagit County you should go! This image was taken while they landed on our dead end road when we lived in Stanwood. Such a site to see.

Today I woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland. I decided to take a walk around our property to find my photo of the day. This holly bush, to me, is a symbol of the Holiday season and winter. I especially love the drop of melting snow about to fall from one of the leaves.

We live on an old farm and though we don't have any farm animals, our neighbors do! They have five chickens and one rooster who all get to play outside and roam around while their parents are home! They really are like little dogs! They wander over into our yard usually so I finally snapped some photos of them the other day.Here is my photo of the day!

While taking the dog out in the early morning these two crows were squawking and talking to each other. I was able to go back inside and get my camera to snap a couple shots of them! I love crows! This is my photo of the day today!

Day 4 of 365 Photo Journal

This old shell of a tractor reminds me of the bond between worker and animal. The animal drawn tractors were usually run by the power of horses or oxen and it amazes me that some farmers prefer to use these today still! Though is one is not in use it brings that nostalgic feel of an old farm and adds character to their property.

While driving around in Bow looking for cool places to take photos of today I found this! Great old barn with the sun coming down perfectly on it and I knew this would be my photo of the day. I edited it and tried to give it a vintage feel to fit the era of the barn. I love old barns!

Day 1 of 365 Photo Journal

Happy New Year! Today starts my 365 photo journal. I will be posting a photo each day for the whole year! This will be a fun challenge!

It's that time of year to pack up the Christmas decorations and get the house all cleaned up. Luci wanted to help, not really, but she is so cute. We spend a lot of time together and she loves her picture taken so this is the first of many images to include Luci.
