Trusty Threads

Everyone who knows me, knows I love my shopping. They also know I love a good deal. While shopping one day I drove by this store and the red anchor logo caught my eye. Deciding to stop on my way home, Trusty Threads quickly became my favorite thrift store!

Trusty Threads is clothing store with a vintage vibe that buys, sells and trades current fashions. Find clothes, shoes, handbags, jewelry and even an array of fun novelty gifts. Store Owner Patricia Shoonmaker also runs her own label Fleabit Design, creating stamped and silkscreen designs. With the economy the way it is the recessionista in all of us is coming out! Bring in last weeks outfit and get a new one all in the same place! Check it out next time your in Marysville.

Diva 911's Rocker Fashion Show

With so many small businesses booming in Western Washington, what a better thing than to colaborate and help one another out!

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot Diva 911 of Lake Stevens, WA very first fashion show! This gem of a store in the heart of Lake Stevens has something for the Diva in us all. From the hottest trends in fashion to the best gifts for everyone, you can find it there.
Diva 911 is run by two sisters, Jackie Mitchell runs the Brick & Mortar Store in Lake Stevens,WA and Joanne Bisquera runs the on-line store out of Spokane, WA.

Becci from Surgz Event's and Promotions contacted Jackie about showcasing Diva 911 in the "Black" Rocker Diva Fashion Show. Quickly agreeing in excitement they started organizing this fun and new venture for Diva 911. Makeup done by Smashing Divas, Krystal Lechner and Aliyliyah Klein. Hair by Intermezzo Salon, Lauren Grinnell and Tanya Joseph-Rodriguez.

Belltown Billiards was the place to be that evening! Models buzzing around from hair to makeup added to the excitement of the show to come. Great venue for a unique fashion show, from the lighting to the dance floor runway, everyone who had a hand in creating this event did a great job.
